A friendly club for Cavaliers, their owners and dog lovers of all breeds 🐾
West Chiltington Cavaliers was founded in 1999 by a group of enthusiastic Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owners, who wanted to bring together people with a shared love of this wonderful breed.
Over the years, the club has grown into a welcoming community where friendships are made, knowledge is shared and dogs are at the heart of everything we do. While Cavaliers remain our special passion, we soon discovered that owners of all breeds wanted to join in our activities too — and we’re delighted to welcome them.
Today, our training classes and many of our events are open to dogs of all breeds, while our social activities continue to celebrate our love of Cavaliers.
More than just a dog club
At West Chiltington Cavaliers, we believe owning a dog should be fun, rewarding and something to enjoy together. Whether you’ve just welcomed a new puppy, adopted a rescue dog or have shared your life with Cavaliers for years, there’s something for everyone.
We offer a varied programme of activities throughout the year, including:
- Puppy Pre-School and puppy training.
- Group training classes for dogs of all ages and abilities.
- Ringcraft training for dogs and handlers interested in showing.
- Monthly club meetings and tea parties.
- Guest speakers, demonstrations and educational talks.
- Social events and outings for members and their dogs.
- Fundraising activities supporting local charities.
There’s always an opportunity to learn something new, meet other dog owners and enjoy spending time with your dog.
Supporting owners every step of the way
We’re passionate about helping owners build happy, confident relationships with their dogs. Our experienced members are always happy to offer friendly advice and support, whether you’re:

No matter where you are on your journey, we’re here to help.
