Our Monthly Social Sessions are at the heart of West Chiltington Cavaliers. They’re a chance to catch up with friends, meet fellow Cavalier owners, enjoy some fun with our dogs and, of course, share a cup of tea and a biscuit or two.
Held once a month at West Chiltington Village Hall, these relaxed afternoons are all about enjoying time together in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
Whether you’ve been a member for years or are thinking of joining us for the first time, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.
What happens at our meet ups?
Every meeting is a little different, but there’s always plenty going on for both dogs and owners. Activities may include:
- Fun games and activities for dogs and their owners.
- Guest speakers and demonstrations on a variety of dog-related topics.
- Opportunities to chat with experienced Cavalier owners and club members.
- Advice and support on caring for your Cavalier.
It’s an informal afternoon where everyone is welcome to share experiences, ask questions and enjoy spending time with other dog lovers.
Tea, chat and a warm welcome
We believe one of the best parts of the club is the community we’ve built. Our meetings are as much about friendship as they are about dogs.
Every session includes:
- Tea, coffee and soft drinks.
- Biscuits and refreshments.
- Plenty of time for a chat and getting to know other members.
Many lasting friendships have started over a cup of tea at our club meetings!
Caring for your Cavalier
Our experienced members are always happy to offer practical advice on caring for Cavaliers. At our meetings you’ll often find help with:
- Weighing your Cavalier.
- Grooming tips, including de-tangling and trimming.
- Dental care advice.
- General health, care and management guidance.
Whether you have a puppy, an adult dog or a senior Cavalier, there’s always someone happy to help.
More than monthly meetings
Alongside our regular Tea Parties, we also organise a variety of social events throughout the year. During the summer months we enjoy additional outings and off-site events, giving members and their dogs even more opportunities to get together and have fun.
